After the initial success of the Nikon 1 V1, Nikon has introduced the most capable, and, arguably, the most stylish model of the system to date in the shape of the new Nikon 1 V3.  The V3 sports a new 18.4MP 1" type CMOS sensor. Nikon 1 V3 also has on-chip phase detection that covers nearly 100% of the frame. Combined with the Expeed 4A processor, the V3 can shoot at 20 fps with continuous AF, and 60 fps with single AF. Sony Alpha 7 and Sony A7R world’s first full frame mirrorless camera

Canon EOS M2 for fantastic daily use and long holiday in 2014

Canon has announced EOS M2, the latest mirrorless digital camera. The new camera promises fast autofocus thanks to the Hybrid CMOS II sensor that is also used in the EOS 100D and SL1 digital cameras. It also has built-in Wi-Fi and a slightly revised body design.  It is sold either body-only or in kits with one, two, or all three EF-M lenses.  The M2 digital camera will be available in black or white bodies.

The Canon EOS M2 also gets a redesigned mode dial with a separate position for the Creative group option. The camera also has integrated Wi-Fi and the ability to connect to smartphones running iOS or Android applications. 

Canon’s smartphone app allows the smart device to be used as a remote control. Other notable features include the addition of built-in Wi-Fi for wireless sharing and image transfer and AF Servo mode when shooting video.

Autofocus improved

You will enjoy Canon EOS M2 with the improved autofocus, which was by far the biggest area requiring improvement on the original. Canon promises more than double the AF speed with its new Hybrid CMOS AF II system, which double checks the window for focus information that the original did for that improvement. Canon has kept the same APS-C 18 megapixel sensor in the M2.

The Hybrid CMOS II sensor promises 2.3 faster autofocus, and its phase detection pixels cover a substantially larger area of the frame, it’s about 80% overall; the EOS M2 should offer the same improved autofocus with the EOS 100D compared to the Canon EOS 700D. 

You can use EOS M2 for long holiday in Bali or other paradise because the size of this camera is smaller than Digital SLR cameras, even smaller than previous EOS M.

Are you ready to change your old digital camera for 2014? You’ll be able to pick up the EOS M2 in December 2013 for 84,800 yen (about $820) with a kit lens or 64,800 yen (about $630) for the body only. However you must go to Japan or China. Don’t worry if you live in USA or other country you can purchase this new EOS M2 in January 2014. Canon EOS 100D a small DSLR camera

Are not you excited to buy a Digital SLR camera? You probably are not alone because many people are reluctant to carry a bulky camera. D SLR cameras usually have a great body and weight, although last generation D SLR small and light enough but still many are relatively large in size. You certainly do not need to be confused because you can choose a mirrorless camera that was much smaller, mirrorless cameras such as the production of Panasonic GF series, Olympus EPL series, Sony NEX series and Canon EOS M.

Canon EOS 100D has a size 25 percent smaller and 28 percent lighter than the Canon EOS 650D. Canon EOS 100D has a size of 116.8 x 90.7 x 69.4mm and weighs only 407g less than half a kilogram alias. Specifications sensor is 18MP APS-C CMOS Hybrid AF II combined with DIGIC 5. Canon EOS 100D is also capable of recording Full HD video with a frame rate of 30fps, 25fps or 24fps. 

Canon EOS 100D uses Canon's DIGIC 5 of which have the ability to take pictures up to 4 fps burst mode. In addition, the Canon EOS 100D is also capable of taking video with 1080p resolution at 30 fps with continuous auto-focus. On the back you can find the LCD screen 3-inch touchscreen. You can use two fingers to zoom or change pictures, and access menus and control settings, and turn the focus point and shutter release when shooting.

Meanwhile, Canon EOS 700D or in Japan called by the name of Canon EOS Rebel T5i, is the successor of the EOS 650D. By using DIGIC 5 processor that has the ability to take pictures up to five frames per second burst mode, the camera has a specification not differ much with the EOS 100D. Canon EOS 700D 18-megapixel camera sensor has a Hybrid AF APS-C CMOS sensor capable of taking images between ISO 100-12800 (can be extended to ISO 25,600) and can be used to record video with full-HD 1080p resolution up to ISO 6400 (can be expanded to ISO 12,800). Canon EOS 700D also features a three-inch touchscreen LCD that can be rotated up to 360 degrees.

ISO range of the EOS 100D is 100-12800 (expandable to H: 25 600) for capturing still images and ISO-6400 (expandable to H: 12 800) for the video. This camera even features an in-camera editing and cropping function that allows us to modify and polish images but it also includes the following scene modes: kids, food, candlelight, night portrait, handheld night scene and HDR backlight control.
